In just the past 24 months, #vbmusic has skyrocketed from about 100 events yearly to nearly 200. This explosive growth has thrown up amazing challenges that we’ve had to learn how to navigate on the fly. It’s been a journey rich with experiences, fueling our evolution into an exciting new phase.
DJs for the world
Venturing out of Mexico to spin at parties and clubs internationally wasn’t new to us, but last year was off the charts. We rocked nearly 40 gigs outside Mexico, hitting spots like Guatemala, Belize, Dominican Republic, Peru, Ecuador, and the USA. We rubbed shoulders with incredible production folks in all these locations, learning and connecting with diverse minds and work styles.

Creative Workshop Reboot
As we ushered in this year, we flung open the doors to the creative addon at our workshop. The stage design we pioneered 7 years ago – featuring wooden booths, screens, laser cut panels, and front mixology bars – is now a staple in countless events and clubs. The lighting game has now become repetitive, with every brand parroting the same systems with small changes – lasers, light beams, blinders lights, wash lights, vintages, FX, led screens, truss systems, moving heads and whatever you can imagine– it’s all become a sea of sameness. But we’re on the brink of a change…
Our goal? To offer something you can’t find anywhere else, and we’re not just talking about the music or the light scene programming.
Team Evolution and Fresh Perspectives
Our crew has undergone some cool changes recently. New faces have joined, familiar ones have returned, and we’ve parted ways with those who were not meeting the standard. Change is vital – it’s the lifeblood of growth, sparking reflection, unlocking new paths, and reaffirming our vision.

This year, we’re injecting our team with fresh, outside-the-box thinkers – people with more expertise than us, a passion for their craft, and ideas that transcend Mexico’s event scene. Their stamina and knowledge is fuel for us.
A Bold New Proposition
¿How to redefine the rules?. For 15 years, we’ve been at the forefront of some of the craziest parties in America, crafting over 2,000 unforgettable events across Mexico and beyond. Some of our stories would be beyond belief, you can’t even imagine the people we’ve met, and some things we’ve seen are simply incomprehensible in the ordinary world.
Our takeaway? It’s time for innovation.
This year, we must pursue transformation – as brands, as professionals, and as an industry. We must rethink concepts, reshape proposals, alter forms, models, and ideas. It’s about reimagining events, creating the uncreated, seeking the unseen, and above all, reinventing.
