The couple

We’d worked with Marisol before, but this time she completely blew us away. We’d always seen her as more classic and conservative, but she totally flipped the script with her wedding vision.

From the jump, we clicked with Luis. He’s on our wavelength when it comes to music, and we instantly vibed when planning the sound and energy for the party.

This wedding was next-level—a perfect blend of tech and art, all orchestrated by the genius wedding planner Carlos Guillermo. We set the stage with a 4-meter-high LED screen, vintage lighting touches, and a killer mix of lasers and beams.

The music

As soon as we got there, we knew this crowd was all about tech house and music festivals—no surprise we were called in. The place was packed with electronic music lovers, and Luis even brought in a close friend to drop a special hour-long set.

Luis asked us to start things off with a mix of Tech House and Disco Groove to keep it versatile. The early part of the night was more traditional—Latin rhythms, English pop, and some reggaeton. But as the night heated up, Luis’s crew was ready to dive into some serious techno.

Sunshine was cool with the techno vibe, but she didn’t want the party turning into a full-on rave, so we had to strike the perfect balance between two different musical worlds.

At weddings, you often get mixed musical tastes, but if the DJ knows how to build the night, everyone stays on the dance floor. It’s all about blending the right tracks without making it feel forced or disjointed. There’s plenty of pop that matches the BPM of tech house, and reggaeton that flows seamlessly with hip hop or EDM.

The highlight

There was definitely a moment we'll never forget and will always keep close to our hearts. Marisol and Luis jumped on stage with us for about 20 minutes while we were spinning some tech house tracks, and it was awesome to see uncles, friends, parents, and everyone dancing along. During those 20 minutes, the connection with them was incredible.

We’ve got a lot of love for Marisol. It’s been an incredible journey with her, and on her wedding day, she had this special glow. We’ve never seen her so happy and completely in her element.
